These terms and conditions apply to working with Sorted By Faye. I will work with you to help you gain the results you would like.
Decision-making, advice disclaimer
Be assured that all the decisions are yours, I am very happy to give advice and help, it is your decision whether these ideas are implemented.
On-site, the decision is always yours as to whether you keep or discard an item. I will help you to reuse, re-purpose, donate or recycle wherever possible.
Deposits, Booking and Cancellation
A deposit of £25 will be charged to confirm any booking, the remaining balance will be presented on invoice upon completion. This is due up to 48 hours before your appointment. If the deposit is not paid by this time, your appointment will be cancelled. This is non-refundable.
The deposit can be moved to another date. If this is necessary, or if you have to cancel or rearrange a booking, please contact me as soon as possible.
It is possible that I also may need to cancel a booking due to ill health or circumstances beyond my control. I will give as much notice as possible.
If any bookings are cancelled with no replacement date agreed, less than 48 hours before a booking, then 50% of the session cost will be charged.
If any booking is not attended, without notice, then the full fee will be charged.
Fees
Due to the Covid-19 I strongly prefer online payments by bank transfer. I also accept cheques. If you wish to use cash, please let me know beforehand as I do not carry change.
If I am required to travel more than 20 miles to an a booking there will be a charge of 50p per mile.
A consultation will likely be required, this can be done by phone, video call, or in person for a fee of £25.

An invoice (-booking fee) will be issued to you on the day of the work. You are expected to pay this within 14 days. If the payment is not received after 14 days after the invoice a charge of 5% per week will be charged on any balance left outstanding.
If you have any problems with making payments please get in touch and we can find a solution together.
Due to being a small business unfortunately all fees are non-refundable.
Confidentiality
Sorted By Faye is a confidential service. No information is given to a third party and everything we discuss or I see as part of my work is completely confidential.
I may ask you to consider giving Sorted By Faye a testimonial for the website, google or social media. These help others thinking about hiring Sorted By Faye to trust the service as it may be something they are considering for the first time.
For on-site work I may also ask to take before and after photographs, which I will give to you, and with your consent use for advertising and marketing purposes. This can be anonymous if you choose.
On-Site, and physical work.
Covid and safety
I make sure to sanitise my hands before entering a property or business. I may bring my own equipment as well as hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, disinfectant spray, gloves and a mask. If you have any concerns or requests please ask these within 24 hours of your booking so I can accommodate you.
Moving and handling
I am happy to move small to medium sized furniture and/or equipment with your help but I cannot move large or very heavy items. If you have things like this that may require moving I recommend having willing helpers on hand.
Recycling
It’s always good to recycle items you no longer need. I am happy to deliver to charity or organise pick-ups from charitable organisations but all items removed are at your discretion. Once items have left the site it isn’t possible to retrieve them.
I will help to separate items which are suitable for the recycling centre and help to load a vehicle if required, however I do not hold a waste handlers licence so cannot take them myself.
Pets
With on-site work it is preferable for pets to be out of the way if possible, this is mostly for their comfort and safety. If you decide to have your pets present during our sessions, it is at your own risk. I strongly recommend that they are either looked after by someone else or kept in another room for their own safety.
Damages
I do not accept responsibility for damages or breakages. The very nature of organising and/or decluttering a space suggests that there may be a lot of items together so breakages are possible.
Cleaning
I am happy to do some light cleaning as I go, dusting, vacuuming etc. However I am not a cleaning service, and do not bring supplies for this.
